Ricardo Cavolo, artista e ilustrador con reconocimiento internacional, es el primero en hacer los honores en Oak Canvas Series. Sus obras y murales se han expuesto en ciudades de todo el mundo: Londres, New York, Milan, Barcelona\u2026 Y como el arte en s\u00ed es un reto, en esta colaboraci\u00f3n con Torres Brandy, lo retamos a pintar una barrica y convertirla en arte. Dicho y hecho.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ricardo Cavolo como artista visual y activista social, explora la fantas\u00eda y el color basando su obra en tres pilares: la immigraci\u00f3n, la inclusi\u00f3n de todo tipo de g\u00e9neros y la salud mental<\/b>. Los personajes con cuatro ojos y los corazones envueltos en llamas, dan forma al universo \u201cCavolo\u201d. Sus inicios en el mundo del dibujo y la ilustraci\u00f3n se deben a la figura de su padre, tambi\u00e9n artista,\u00a0 quien seg\u00fan las palabras de Ricardo Cavolo: \u201csupo hacer de muy buen profesor, siempre desde el respeto, para no impregnarme de su estilo, sino que yo tuviera mi propio lenguaje\u201d. Y justo este lenguaje tan propio e ic\u00f3nico es lo que convierte su obra en piezas muy reconocibles.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

En su trabajo hay dos lecturas simult\u00e1neas: una principal, la visual, con colores vivos y formas naifs,\u00a0 y otra segunda lectura, en la que la narrativa toma el protagonismo con temas sociales de denuncia. Dos lecturas que se contraponen en un mismo formato, en su obra.<\/span><\/p>\n

En esta primera colaboraci\u00f3n del proyecto Oak Canvas Series by Torres Brandy, Ricardo Cavolo convierte la barrica en obra de arte ilustrando en ella el proceso de creaci\u00f3n del destilado (vi\u00f1edo, destilaci\u00f3n, envejecimiento y hasta el momento en que disfrutamos el brandy en una copa o c\u00f3ctel). La colaboraci\u00f3n va mucho m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la barrica. En Torres Brandy creemos que el arte tambi\u00e9n se disfruta y debe llegar al m\u00e1ximo de gente posible. As\u00ed que en colaboraci\u00f3n con Ricardo Cavolo, se ha creado una edici\u00f3n limitada de coleccionista del brandy Jaime I, <\/b>\u00a0con un estuche basado en la ilustraci\u00f3n de la barrica.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

El dise\u00f1o de la botella de Jaime I, es en s\u00ed una obra art\u00edstica inspirada en el arte modernista de finales del siglo XIX e inicios del XX. Un estilo art\u00edstico que ha dado forma a la ciudad de Barcelona. Si paseas por la ciudad y miras al cielo, podr\u00e1s ver en uno de los edificios m\u00e1s emblem\u00e1ticos de Paseo de Gracia, la inspiraci\u00f3n de la botella. Y es que Barcelona siempre ha sido una ciudad creativa, un lugar en el que se respira arte.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

El brandy Jaime I no solo se inspira en el arte, tambi\u00e9n rinde homenaje a Don Jaime Torres, fundador de Bodegas Torres. Y es que el arte tambi\u00e9n es exploraci\u00f3n, es tener la mente abierta a un mundo en constantes cambios.
